Alexandra DeFurio is a Los Angeles–based commercial and fine art photographer whose work explores the feminine experience, memory, and loss through personal narrative. Her practice includes self-portraiture and the historic cyanotype process, creating images that reflect both intimate reflection and artistic experimentation.

DeFurio’s fine art photographs have been exhibited nationally and internationally, including in Milan and Paris, and featured in publications such as Frames Magazine, L’Oeil de la Photographie, Shots Magazine, What Will You Remember?, Lenscratch, and A Photo Editor. Her work has appeared in fairs including Milan Photo Fair (MIA), Photo Saint-Germain (Paris), Pop Art Photo Show, and stARTup Art Fair, and has been collected privately.

She is the creator of Embodying the Feminine, an immersive photo experience that combines portraiture with embodiment coaching. Through this work, she empowers women to reconnect with their authentic expression, heal past wounds, and transform the way they relate to themselves and move in the world.

Alexandra holds a Life Coaching and Leadership certificate in Soul-Centered Living from the University of Santa Monica (2021), is a writer, and the mother of two daughters.
