Alexandra DeFurio is a Los Angeles–based photographer and artist working across portraiture, documentary projects, fine art photography, and hand-printed cyanotypes. Her work explores relationships between memory, identity, intimacy, and the ways images can shift in meaning through juxtaposition and form.
DeFurio’s work has been exhibited nationally and internationally, including in Milan and Paris, and featured in publications such as Lenscratch, A Photo Editor, L’Oeil de la Photographie, Frames Magazine, Shots Magazine, and What Will You Remember? Her work is held in private collections.
